Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Services in Dayton, Ohio. The role focuses on provisioning, operation, and ongoing support of complex database and application server infrastructure, with an emphasis on security and availability.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in DoD IT databases, Oracle 19c+, and DoD security certifications, enabling critical disaster recovery and high-availability

Qualifications

Five years of overall engineering experience.
At least five years with DoD IT systems.
Certified in DoD IAT Level II and Oracle 19c+.

Responsibilities

Provision, operate, install/configure and maintain systems hardware/software infrastructure.
Provide guidance and hands-on delivery for database planning and operation.
Participate in research and development to enable ongoing infrastructure innovation.
Ensure systems and procedures meet regulatory requirements.
Document specifications, plans, configurations, and test results.
Communicate objectives, scope and status to project teams.
