Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Services at any DLA location. Onsite/Hybrid role with multiple U.S. sites, including Fort Belvoir, VA, and Richmond, VA, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of DBMS query language experience (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, MS Access).
• 2+ years hands-on Relational DBMS experience.
• Experience across multiple operating systems and programming languages; at least two projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design database structures; choose appropriate DBMS technologies.
• Provide technical DBMS support and optimization for user requirements.
• Define file organization, indexing, and security for applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain backup/recovery procedures and ensure data integrity.
