Job summary

Bart & Associates, Inc. seeks a Junior Database Administrator to support the DLA Enterprise Database Infrastructure Services at multiple locations. The role emphasizes DBMS analysis, security, backup, and recovery procedures as part of a federal contracting team.

Anticipated start Feb 2027 with TS eligibility required. Onsite/Hybrid work options available across Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; New Cumberland, PA; Philadelphia, PA, with several other sites listed for non-key personnel. U.S.

Qualifications

Two (2) years progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
At least two (2) years hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems.
Experience on various operating systems and additional programming languages; experience on at least two projects.

Responsibilities

Experience in DBMS system analysis and programming; using current DBMS technologies and application design; experience with DBMS internals.
Provide highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS.
Evaluate and recommend DBMS products to support user requirements.
Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.
Develops, implements, and maintains database backup and recovery procedures; ensures data integrity and recoverability.
