Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an Oracle Migration Specialist Solutions Architect to lead Oracle workload migrations for the Worldwide Public Sector. You will own the full database conversation from legacy estate assessment to target-state design on AWS, collaborating with account teams and SI partners to win deals.

Qualifications

8+ years of technology domain experience
3+ years of design/consulting in applications and infrastructures
10+ years of IT development or consulting in software/Internet industries

Responsibilities

Assess complex Oracle estates and deliver migration architecture recommendations
Design target-state architectures across ODB@AWS, RDS for Oracle, Aurora PostgreSQL and EC2
Build and present TCO-based business cases to quantify savings
Deliver technical workshops, immersion days, and executive architecture sessions
Partner with account teams, Professional Services, and SI partners to translate opportunities into pipeline
Model projected consumption for PPAs and strategic commitments
Mentor and enable field SA teams on licensing nuances and competitive messaging
