JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Software Engineer in Corporate Technology’s Workforce Experience Technology team in Columbus. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable technology products while supporting the firm’s business goals in an agile environment.

You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical specs, and produce reports in Oracle HCM Cloud. The role emphasizes production-quality code, automation, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Join JPMorgan Chase as a Software Engineer in Corporate Technology’s Workforce Experience Technology team, where you will play a key role in an agile environment to design, build, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable, market-leading technology products while driving critical solutions across technical domains to support the firm’s business goals.

Job responsibilities

• Works with stakeholders to review and gather requirements.
• Creates technical requirement documents.
• Builds custom extracts and reports on Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) cloud using the available framework.
• Understands and customizes seeded reports on Oracle HCM cloud.
• Builds proficiency with the HCM modules Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Core HR, Talent & Performance Management, Time & Absence, Payroll, and other areas as required.
• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hands-on experience on Oracle HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI
• Knowledge of seeded reports in Oracle HCM Cloud
• Oracle HCM Fast Formula
• Good verbal communication, written and presentation skills
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

• Knowledge of Oracle HCM cloud functional modules
• Detail-oriented, team player and who could thrive in a collaborative environment
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesand AI tools
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
