Job summary

JPMorganChase, within Corporate Technology Employee Platforms, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll initiatives across a multi-platform US payroll program. You will translate requirements into end-to-end designs, configure payroll components, and collaborate with Payroll, HR, and IT to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle HCM (Fusion)
• 5+ years specializing in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll as a lead or SME
• Deep expertise in US payroll configuration: elements, balances, costing, retro/proration, payroll flows
• Strong US payroll domain knowledge: tax withholding, garnishments, benefits deductions, FLSA rules
• Experience managing quarterly updates and legislative patches, including impact assessment and release coordination
• Familiarity with integrations across HR, Time, Benefits, Finance/GL
• Proven track record planning and overseeing end-to-end delivery
• Vendor and Oracle Support coordination experience
• Clear, concise communication with payroll, HR, and technology stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle HCM workstream for payroll automation programs
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration workbooks
• Configure Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and ensure accurate integrations
• Plan and oversee the delivery lifecycle from requirements to release
• Govern changes and releases; publish release communications
• Partner with Payroll and HR to align on scope, timelines, and success criteria
• Establish internal controls and audit readiness; provide evidence for audits
• Direct and mentor cross-functional team members; set documentation standards
• Manage third parties and Oracle Support; escalate as needed
• Serve as functional technology stakeholder for service operations and incident resolution
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and version control
