Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM technical-functional consultant specializing in the Learning module to join our HR Technology team. The engagement lasts six months and offers a hybrid work arrangement in Merrifield, Virginia, with an alternative remote option within the United States.

You will lead design and configuration within Oracle HCM, focusing on Learn, BPM, and VBS, while mentoring teammates and delivering scalable content and features to strengthen business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud HCM experience with functional-technical expertise in Recruiting, Opportunity Marketplace and/or Learning modules.
• Advanced knowledge of SaaS cloud functional/technical data flows, notifications, and integrations between multiple applications.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance and as part of a team, with mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle HCM solutions, with Learn, alert configuration, BPM, and VBS expertise.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and share best practices and prior implementation experience.
• Support ongoing Oracle production operations, releases, and continuous enhancements within HCM.
• Identify and implement new Oracle Cloud features to improve outcomes and user experience.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex HCM issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and communicate status, risks, and resolutions.
• Enable the broader team with knowledge sharing and reusable solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge artifacts.
