Job summary

Satwic Inc. is seeking a Lead Functional Analyst in California to join our on-site team at the Customer location in Menlo Park, three days a week. You will translateRequirements into functional intent, guide offshore QA, and ensure end-to-end validation across Oracle Fusion SCM and internal applications connected to it.

You will collaborate with onsite managers, validate end-to-end flows, and oversee release readiness, UAT, and defect triage across Fusion, internal, and third-party owners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Oracle Fusion SCM with strong functional depth across Order Management, Inventory, GOP, Procurement, Manufacturing, PIM, and Planning.
• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle OTM and GTM.
• Experience with heavily integrated Fusion landscapes spanning custom/internal apps and third-party systems.
• Proven ability to define and review functional validation scenarios for Fusion and non-Fusion apps.
• Comfort ramping on proprietary internal apps with limited external docs.
• Monitor Fusion quarterly release testing and patch validation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with onsite Application Managers to gather and clarify functional requirements across Oracle Fusion SCM and integrated internal apps.
• Partner with onsite Customer QA Lead, coordinating with offshore team and providing SCM domain depth behind validation planning.
• Communicate requirements to offshore team and review scenarios for coverage and traceability to original requirements.
• Own end-to-end functional understanding of integrated flows across internal apps, Fusion, and downstream systems.
• Act as onsite face for offshore team, reporting status, risks, and blockers to onsite stakeholders.
• Confirm functional readiness ahead of releases, support UAT, and drive defect triage to closure across Fusion, internal, and third-party owners.

Job description

• Customer's Enterprise Products (EP) supply chain landscape runs on Oracle Fusion SCM alongside a significant set of Custom-built internal applications and third-party systems that integrate with it.
• Our offshore QA team in India and Singapore test this landscape today. We are hiring a US-based Lead Functional Analyst to serve as their onsite counterpart — the bridge between Customer Application Managers, Customer QA Lead, and our offshore team.
• You will translate business requirements into clear functional intent, guide the offshore team, and confirm that the scenarios they build genuinely satisfy what the business asked for — across both Oracle Fusion and the internal applications connected to it.

What you'll do

• Work directly with onsite Application Managers to gather and clarify functional requirements across Oracle Fusion SCM and the Customer internal applications integrated with it.
• Partner closely with the onsite Customer QA Lead, taking on day-to-day functional coordination with the offshore team and providing the SCM domain depth behind validation planning.
• Communicate requirements to the offshore team so nothing is lost in translation, and review the scenarios they prepare for coverage, business relevance, and traceability back to the original requirement.
• Own end-to-end functional understanding of integrated flows — where a transaction originates in an internal Customer application, moves through Oracle Fusion, and lands in a downstream or third-party system — and ensure validation covers the full chain, not just the Fusion-side steps.
• Act as the onsite face for the offshore team: representing their work, status, risks, and blockers to onsite stakeholders.
• Confirm functional readiness ahead of releases, support UAT with business users, and drive defect triage to closure across Fusion, internal, and third-party application owners.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in Oracle Fusion SCM with strong functional depth across most of: Order Management, Inventory, Global Order Promising (GOP), Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Information Management (PIM), and Planning.
• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle OTM and GTM.
• Demonstrated experience with heavily integrated Oracle Fusion landscapes — validating end-to-end flows spanning custom/in-house applications, third-party systems, and Fusion.
• Proven experience defining and reviewing functional validation scenarios for Oracle Fusion and non-Oracle applications.
• Comfort ramping quickly on proprietary, internally built applications with limited external documentation, and reasoning about integration behavior from data flows and business process rather than vendor manuals.
• Monitor Oracle Fusion quarterly release testing and patch validation activities to assess the impact of Oracle updates on existing business processes and integrations.
• Analyze Oracle release notes, identify affected business areas, and develop risk-based regression testing strategies.
• Validate Oracle Fusion integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations following Oracle patches and quarterly updates.
• Track record operating as an onsite liaison in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex supply chain processes to business and technical audiences, and to challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Must be based in California, US and able to work onsite. 3 days per week from Customer location.

Nice to have

• End-to-end Fusion SCM implementations, upgrades, or quarterly release cycle experience.
• Familiarity with integration technologies and patterns (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, file-based interfaces) and the ability to trace and validate cross-application data.
• Experience coordinating validation across multiple application owners in a large enterprise landscape.
• Experience with defect tracking and requirement traceability tooling.
