Job Summary:

SkillOnTap is looking for a seasoned Oracle Financial Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Advanced Collections and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge, experience in end-to-end configurations, testing, and creating high-quality Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for integrations. This is a remote opportunity with a shift timing aligned to global client delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation and optimization of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, primarily focusing on Advanced Collections and AR.
• Perform detailed requirement gathering, gap analysis, and provide to-be process recommendations.
• Configure Oracle Financials modules (Advanced Collections, AR) to meet business needs.
• Work closely with technical teams to define and document functional specifications for integrations and enhancements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing functional support to end-users.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders or internal teams as required.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (GL, AP, Cash Management) to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Maintain documentation, including FSDs, configuration workbooks, and process flows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle Financial Functional Consultant.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Advanced Collections and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proven experience in writing Functional Specification Documents for RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
• Strong experience in configurations and setups of Oracle Financial modules.
• Ability to conduct system testing and support UAT with minimal supervision.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials is a plus.
• Familiarity with integration tools like Oracle SOA, OIC, or third-party middleware is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with a customer-centric approach and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Oracle Financials Functional Certification (Optional but preferred).
• Experience working in global delivery model setups.
