Genesis10 is currently seeking a Functional Business Consultant with our client in the healthcare industry in Eagan, MN through 12/31/2025. This is a remote position.

Summary:

The Functional Business Consultant serves as a business system or business process subject matter expert with a high level of understanding of their assigned area. This position will represent their area of expertise regarding business system knowledge on internal and client projects, regulatory requirements, process improvement, advanced research, root cause analysis, complex issue research, documentation, advanced communications, client interaction, training, testing, ongoing system support, developing reports, and coordinating audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Represents assigned business system or business process as a subject matter expert in business requirements, system specifications, process flows, process change, and/or project management.
2. Provides leadership to the business in identifying and adopting operational best practices and standard operating procedures related to the assigned business system or process.
3. Independently researches, determines root cause, and collaborates with others to resolve complex business and technical issues and customer inquiries.
4. Provides prompt and thorough resolution for client and/or member satisfaction.
5. May facilitate testing for new or improved systems or processes, including creating a test plan, identifying test cases, and leading User Acceptance and Joint Cycle Testing.
6. May provide guidance, mentoring, and work direction to others on the team.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of work experience in business analysis, project management, and/or process improvement.
• At least 3 years of functional experience in areas such as claims, eligibility, product, benefits, implementations, or related fields.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Proven client service skills with a track record of building strong client relationships.
• Prior implementation experience.
• Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical claims data and general medical claims data; highly analytical.
• Previous PBM or healthcare experience.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate: $70-$85/Hr.

Additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions available with various rates.
