Job summary

Yochana is seeking a senior database specialist to provide 24/7 support for Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, MSSQL and Sybase across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead migrations from on-prem to Private and Google Cloud, manage patching cycles, and resolve performance issues with durable fixes.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of database experience, Exadata expertise, and hands-on GCP/MongoDB skills. Strong scripting and HA/DR mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years relevant database experience in IT support.
3+ years supporting Oracle Exadata Platform/Exadata Cloud at Customer (Exacc).
OCM or equivalent proficiency.
Hands-on with Google Cloud native databases and MongoDB.
Strong SQL and scripting for automation.
Experience with HA/DR, migrations, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 support for Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, MSSQL and Sybase.
Migrate databases from On-prem to Private and Google Cloud (GCP).
Support Oracle and Non-Oracle patching activities.
Troubleshoot performance issues and implement permanent fixes.
Restore and recover databases on-demand.
Database upgrade/patch to latest known version.
