Summary:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to perform application functionality gap analysis and feasibility studies.
- Lead development activities for a functional area, module, or project. Provide and document technical design and specifications that meet business and functional requirements.
- Develop (code), implement, and maintain tools/applications, ensuring applications and systems have adequate controls.
- Perform unit testing before moving code/configuration to QA. Evaluate and research upgrades, patches, and new functionalities. Investigate defects and identify root causes.
- Assist in developing and defining test plans and scripts for performance, regression, and user acceptance testing; support QA activities as needed.
- Build and maintain templates, rules, style sheets, workflows, data extractions/imports, interfaces, and object models.
- Analyze applications for compliance with security protocols.
- Train team members on areas of expertise. Lead peer reviews and participate in team knowledge sharing.
- Identify key barriers or core problems and apply problem-solving skills to address complex situations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, to produce effective results.
- Perform assignments independently with limited instruction, developing approaches to solutions. Seek technical guidance only on unusual or complex issues.
- May oversee project completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work.
Oracle EBS Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of Oracle EBS development experience.
- At least 7 years of overall technical developer experience.
- Experience extending/enhancing EBS features.
- Experience integrating EBS with other systems.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Procurement, Order Management, and Inventory modules, including data structures and APIs.
EBS Experience includes:
- PL/SQL Development in EBS Application stack – SQL Developer.
- Oracle Forms Developer.
- Oracle Workflow Builder.
- Oracle BI Publisher.
- JDeveloper.
- WebADI.
- Approval Management Engine.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration platforms – Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Suite (preferred).
- Experience with Oracle 12.2.9 version.
- Expertise in Oracle modules - Order Management, Inventory, and Advanced Pricing.
- Experience across SDLC phases including requirements gathering, deployment, testing, and support.
- Implemented conversions, integrations, and programmatic solutions.
- Strong programming skills, especially in Oracle-supported languages.
- Working knowledge of web service development, architecture (SOAP/REST), and OIC.
