Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues to support business processes and ensure client requirements are met.

The role requires SQL/PLSQL, Oracle EBS knowledge, and experience with data migration, data integration, and RICE components. A bachelor's degree and at least five years' experience are expected; security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME along with experience in Oracle EBS development tools and a strong understanding of the EBS application architecture.
• Development and customization: Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Exposure to Projects, Purchasing, and budgeting
• Familiarity with Oracle R12.2.x application schema and able to create queries
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
• Exposure to creating technical documentation
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer)

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
• Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using tools like XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
• System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
