Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Technical Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Responsibilities include writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, and troubleshooting issues within Oracle EBS.

You will support business processes, collaborate with functional teams, and perform data migration tasks. A strong grasp of SQL/PL/SQL and Oracle EBS modules is essential to align with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME with Oracle EBS development tools understanding.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF.
• Experience with Projects, Purchasing, CLM and budgeting.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x schema and ability to create queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience; postgraduate study can substitute for experience.
• Experience in creating technical documentation.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom apps, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS.
• Integration: build and maintain data migration and interfaces, often using XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis.
• System administration: perform system analysis, upgrades, ensure performance and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed documentation for development processes.
