Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues, supporting business processes and ensuring client requirements are met.

The role emphasizes designing, developing, and maintaining custom EBS solutions, data migration interfaces, and technical documentation. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are required, with sponsorship and clearances as

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS custom solutions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF.
• Exposure to Projects, Purchasing, and budgeting modules.
• Familiarity with Oracle R12.2.x schema and ability to create queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience (3 credit hours per 3 months).
• Exposure to creating technical documentation.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).
• Oracle certifications such as OCP for EBS R12 preferred.
• Experience with data integrity, system optimization, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: Design and develop custom EBS applications, reports, extensions, and workflows.
• Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems using XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• System administration: Perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: Functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for development processes and solutions.
