Job summary

Software Placement Group partners with an established energy company to expand its Oracle Fusion/Utilities environment near Buffalo, NY, Erie, PA, or Dayton, OH. This hands-on role blends business and IT collaboration to drive cloud transformation across enterprise systems.

You will configure, develop, and support Fusion/Utilities applications, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure reliability through testing and documentation. US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise app development, systems analysis, or related
• Hands-on with Oracle Fusion (Utilities Cloud preferred) or comparable ERP
• Experience in CCS/CC&B, WAM/WACS, or OFSC/CSF domains
• Experience with configuration, extensions, or integrations
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Bachelor's degree required (transcripts)
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in future

Overview

An established energy company with more than 2,000 employees across Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania is expanding its Oracle ecosystem to support corporate growth, a recent acquisition, and cloud transformation initiatives. This hands-on enterprise applications role offers the chance to work closely with business and IT teams, data engineers, application architects, vendors, and implementation partners on a significant Oracle Fusion/Utilities environment.

What you'll do

• Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications
• Work with functional business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion (Utilities Cloud preferred) or a comparable enterprise ERP platform
• Professional experience in at least one of the following areas: CCS / CC&B (customer information, customer billing, CRM, or customer‑facing systems), WAM / WACS (asset management, work management, etc.), or OFSC / CSF (field scheduling, field service, etc.)
• Experience with enterprise application configuration, extensions, integrations, or development
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (transcripts required)
• Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred
• Experience with enterprise implementations, acquisitions, and/or major platform transitions highly desired
• Utilities Cloud experience with Oracle Fusion preferred
