Job summary

Software Placement Group is hiring an Oracle Developer to expand its Fusion/Utilities environment across the Northeast. You will work hands-on with enterprise applications, partnering with business teams, data engineers, and partners on development, configuration, integrations, reporting, and support.

The role emphasizes implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules, translating requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring data integrity through testing and stabilization activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Oracle Developer in enterprise settings
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM core HR, payroll, talent, benefits, or security
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree, transcripts required
• Local to Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH within remote radius or relocation
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now and in the future

Location: Erie, PA (or On-Site in Buffalo, NY / Dayton, OH; Remote considered for candidates within a six-hour radius of these cities in NY, PA, or OH) | Schedule: Full-time, On-Site preferred or Remote with periodic office visits

Overview

An established energy-sector employer with thousands of employees across the Northeast is expanding its Oracle ecosystem to support corporate growth, a recent acquisition, and a broader cloud transformation initiative. The organization is hiring an Oracle Developer to help build out its Oracle Fusion/Utilities environment, partnering closely with business teams, data engineers, application architects, and implementation partners on a hands-on enterprise applications role spanning development, configuration, integrations, reporting, and support.

What you'll do

• Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and related applications
• Work with functional business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts

Required qualifications

• At least 5+ years of Oracle Developer experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline
• Professional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including a mix of Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, and/or Security, including configuration, extensions, integrations, or development
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; transcripts will be required
• Local to Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH (or within the specified remote radius), or willing to relocate upon hire
• Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred
• Hands-on experience with enterprise implementations, acquisitions, and/or major platform transitions highly desired
