Job summary

Modus21, LLC., a Charleston, SC-based technology consulting firm, seeks a skilled Oracle Database and Middleware Administrator to support NIWC LANT CLOUD CITI. The role focuses on Oracle DB, WebLogic, security controls, and cloud integration in on-prem and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates will have Oracle 12c/19c experience, Linux/Windows admin skills, and the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance. Collaboration with security and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• CompTIA Security+ or CASP or CISSP required.
• Oracle Database experience (12c/19c) and Oracle WebLogic/Identity Management.
• US citizen with DoD TOP SECRET clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Scripting experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and secure Oracle Database (Multitenant).
• Administer WebLogic domains and servers.
• Perform health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain security controls (STIG, FIPS 140-2).
• Support AWS services (EC2, RDS for Oracle, S3).
• Partner with engineering, development, and security teams.
• Provide on-call support for critical issues.
