Qualifications

As part of this program, we are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database and Middleware Administrator to support the Service Delivery IPT. This role requires expertise across Oracle database and middleware technologies, with a focus on performance, availability, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate operates independently, proactively resolves issues, and supports mission-critical systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Oracle Administration: -Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and secure:

Middleware & Application Support: -Administer WebLogic domains and servers

Monitoring & Performance: -Perform health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning

Security & Compliance: -Implement and maintain security controls:

Cloud & Systems Integration: -Support AWS services (EC2, RDS for Oracle, S3)

Collaboration & Documentation: -Partner with engineering, development, and security teams

Continuous Improvement & Support: -Recommend and implement performance and scalability improvements

• Strong experience with Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or later)
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, Identity Management, and web servers (Oracle ----HTTP Server, Apache, Tomcat)
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration
• Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
• Knowledge of security standards (STIG, FIPS 140-2, SSL/PKI)
• Experience with backup and recovery processes
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
