Job summary

COOLSOFT is seeking an experienced Oracle/OCI Engineer to design and manage Oracle OCI environments, databases, and middleware. You will develop Oracle APEX apps, administer WebLogic, and implement DR strategies while coordinating with DevOps for deployments.

Required 10+ years with OCI, APEX, ORDS, and Oracle DB; scripting in Linux/Unix; experience with RMAN, OEM, and patching. Hybrid work with on-site and remote days, evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years hands-on with OCI and Oracle middleware stack.
• Strong experience with Oracle APEX, ORDS, and WebLogic Server.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle DB, 19c/26ai and PDB/CDB concepts.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix, scripting, and RMAN backup/restore.
• Experience with OEM Cloud Control, PSU patching, and OCI DBaaS.
• GitLab/CI, Ansible automation, and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

It will be hybrid with 3 days at work and 2 days remote, candidate should be available evenings and weekends on-demand. We will have one or two rounds of technical interview followed by work sample(machine test) at VDH HQ for about 2 hours.

They should be able to provide after hours and weekend support to apply patches and other maintenance activities.

Required Skills
