Job summary

Wake County Public School System in Cary, NC seeks a Data Analyst (OPT) to manage and analyze Oracle personnel data and support HR/payroll data processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience in analyzing and researching data based on policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and researches Oracle position data and recommendations for employment and provides solutions based on research.
• Enters personnel information from multiple sources into the Oracle database relating to hires, changes, salary, licensure, contracts, and other data.
• Prepares information for Board of Education reports related to new hire/rehire status.
• Collaborates with Central Services departments to ensure proper setup and compensation.
• Maintains workflow records of Oracle data and processing.
• Develops knowledge of salary schedules, pay cycles, and calendars for accurate data entry.
• Maintains understanding of employee benefits and eligibility as it relates to contracts.
• Maintains effective relationships with HR Administrators and Specialists to transition applicants to employee status in Oracle.
• Communicates employment status changes with Payroll to ensure accurate processing.
• Processes employment verification, service years, and leave balances transfers.
• Ensures monthly payroll deadlines are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
