Job summary

Vets Hired is seeking a Systems Analyst/Programmer Application Specialist to support Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll, analyze business needs, develop system solutions, and provide application support. You will create SQL-based reports, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with HR and IT to improve processes.

The role requires 1–3 years in Oracle HCM Cloud, strong SQL skills, and the ability to work in an office environment in Newark, NJ. You will also train users and maintain system documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll and Core HR modules.
• Knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll processes.
• Strong SQL programming and reporting skills.
• Experience with application support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud applications, including Payroll and Core HR modules.
• Analyze business and user requirements and develop system solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and support software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HCM application issues.
• Perform application enhancements and system optimization.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HCM and Payroll data.
• Support production job streams and application processes.
• Provide application design, programming, and technical support.
• Deliver user training and recommend system improvements.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments on system enhancements.
• Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing system operations.
