Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to support Oracle Cloud and Oracle Apps integrations. You will contribute to requirements, design discussions, and code integration components while ensuring system stability and quality.

The role involves hands-on development, testing, and documentation across SDLC with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have Oracle Apps technical skills, OIC experience, and strong knowledge of REST/SOAP services, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.
• Hands-on in VBS/VBCS UI development, ERP Cloud database understanding, BI Pub development, Apps Composure and personalization, PL/SQL development, ORDS.
• Experience with integrations and system interfaces on a PaaS Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for development teams.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features while maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies for reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, tests, and support activities.

Technology Consultant 2 Area Of Responsibility

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.
• VBS/VBCS UI development, FA api’s, Grovy scripting, ERP Cloud database understanding, BI Pub development, Apps Composure and personalization, PL/SQL development, ORDS etc.
• Experience with integrations.
• Experience of system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud).
• Experience in building integration in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.
• Provide hands‑on technical and development support for implemented integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including App‑driven orchestration, scheduled integrations, and file‑based integrations.
• Develop and manage REST and SOAP web services, adapters, and connectors for Oracle SaaS and third‑party applications.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Maintain documentation for integrations, configurations, and deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and best practices.
• Hands‑on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post‑implementation experience.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
