Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in the Oracle practice located near Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on Oracle Apps technical work, PL/SQL development and integrating ERP Cloud components via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

You will conduct interviews, draft design documents, develop and test code, and monitor live systems while building thorough integration documentation. Prior experience with REST/SOAP services is essential.

Qualifications

Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud.
Experience with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.
VBS/VBCS UI development, FA api’s, Grovy scripting, ERP Cloud database understanding, BI Pub development, Apps Composure and personalization, PL/SQL development, ORDS etc.
Experience with integrations.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
Develop, refine and document code for new software applications per design specs.
Execute test plans, analyze outcomes and report defects to improve software performance.
Support integration of new software features and smooth transitions within the system.
Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and create documentation for maintenance.
Document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions for the knowledge base.

Overview

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill And Experience

Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud.
Experience with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.

Experience with integrations.
Experience of system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud).
Experience in building integration in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.
Experience in hands-on technical and development support for implemented integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud.
Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including App-driven orchestration, scheduled integrations, and file-based integrations.
Develop and manage REST and SOAP web services, adapters, and connectors for Oracle SaaS and third-party applications.

Preferred Skill And Experience

Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Maintain documentation for integrations, configurations, and deployment processes.
Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and best practices.
Hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation experience.

Additional Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
