Job summary

Credence is seeking an Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect and SME to lead enterprise data management implementations, including PowerCenter, for government clients. The role is based in our Tysons Corner / McLean, VA offices with onboarding in September 2026 and requires deep OCI expertise and strong leadership.

You will work across cross-functional teams to shape strategy, ensure technical excellence, and deliver solutions aligned with federal requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
Minimum 10 years of related experience in software infrastructure development and management.
Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
Strong technical design and development skills for scalable, efficient solutions.
Cloud - Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); 2 years' experience with OCI.
Experience designing new systems from the ground up and improving existing systems.
Problem solving skills to troubleshoot business critical systems during outages.
Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas clearly and work independently or in a team.
Active Security+ certification and eligibility for security clearance (Secret preferred).
OCI or Oracle database and middleware certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

Involved in the complete software development lifecycle.
Interface directly with the client and build relationships across all organizational levels.
Provide technology leadership to the managed services team.
Assess risks and impacts of the hosting environment and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Establish development tools, guidelines and conventions for scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python).
Design, code, and test Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts.
Maintain and improve existing scripts and fix bugs.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Collaborate with other software teams to understand infrastructure requirements.
Build infrastructure monitoring strategies and instrument OCI environment.
