Credence is seeking an Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect to lead enterprise data management initiatives and guide a cross-functional team. The role focuses on architecting and implementing OIC solutions and related data management tools for government projects.

Based in Dayton, OH with options for collaboration at Tysons Corner, VA, the position emphasizes strategic direction, technical leadership, and adherence to security requirements while delivering scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in software infrastructure development and management.
• Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
• Strong technical design and development skills to provide scalable solutions.
• Cloud – IaaS, 2 years’ experience with OCI.
• Experience designing new systems and improving existing ones.
• Active Security+ certification.
• Must be eligible for security clearance; an active Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the complete software development life-cycle.
• Interface directly with the client and build relationships at all levels.
• Provide technology leadership to the managed services team.
• Assess risks and impacts of the hosting environment and transfer knowledge.
• Establish development tools and conventions for Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python.
• Design, code, and test Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts.
• Maintain and improve existing scripts; fix bugs.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Collaborate with other software teams on infrastructure needs.
• Build infrastructure monitoring strategies and instrument OCI.
