Job summary

Credence is seeking an Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect SME in McLean, VA to lead enterprise data management implementations and OCI-based infrastructure. You will guide cross-functional teams, design scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with federal government needs.

The role requires extensive experience in software infrastructure, Agile practices, and OCI; security clearance eligibility is preferred. On-site in Tysons Corner, with onboarding in Sept 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in software infrastructure development and management.
• Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
• Cloud – Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); 2 years’ OCI experience.
• Experience designing new systems from the ground up and improving existing ones.
• Security+ certification and ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the complete software development life-cycle.
• Interface directly with the client and build relationships across organizational levels.
• Provide technology leadership to the managed services team.
• Assess risks and impacts of the hosting environment and transfer knowledge.
• Design, code, and test Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts.
• Maintain and improve existing scripts and code.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Work with other software teams to meet infrastructure needs.
• Build infrastructure monitoring strategies for OCI.
