Job summary

WorkTrust Solutions in New Orleans, LA seeks a senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Solution Architect/Engineer to lead and architect complex Oracle Cloud integrations within the utilities ecosystem.

You will work hands-on and as a technical architect, guiding business leaders and offshore teams while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and scalable patterns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years in Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role with Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying OIC integrations.
• Experience leading at least one full lifecycle Oracle Integration Cloud implementation.
• Strong understanding of OIC architecture, orchestration, and middleware best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Support integrations across Oracle WACS, Field Service, Customer Cloud Service, and Oracle ERP Fusion.
• Establish scalable integration patterns, standards, and OIC best practices.
• Evaluate batch, scheduled, and near real time integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex production integrations and perform root cause analysis.
• Review integration designs and code produced by system integrators and MSPs.
• Provide technical governance and ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and explain technical solutions in business terms.
• Develop integration design specifications, system mappings, process flows, and supporting technical documentation.
• Support testing, deployment, production stabilization, and ongoing optimization.

WorkTrust is seeking a senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Solution Architect / Engineer to support a large, highly integrated Oracle Cloud environment within the utilities industry.

This is not a traditional OIC developer position. We are looking for someone who can operate as both a hands on integration expert and a technical architect, providing architectural direction across a complex Oracle ecosystem while working closely with business leaders, application teams, system integrators, and offshore resources.

The environment includes Oracle Utilities Cloud applications such as WACS, OFS, and CCS, along with Oracle ERP Fusion, OCI, Azure, and numerous enterprise integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, design, build, and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud
• Support integrations across Oracle WACS, Oracle Field Service, Customer Cloud Service, and Oracle ERP Fusion
• Establish scalable integration patterns, standards, and OIC best practices
• Evaluate batch, scheduled, and near real time integration requirements
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform root cause analysis
• Review integration designs and code produced by system integrators and managed service providers
• Provide technical governance and ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and explain technical solutions in business terms
• Develop integration design specifications, system mappings, process flows, and supporting technical documentation
• Support testing, deployment, production stabilization, and ongoing optimization
• Work closely with offshore development and support teams
• Mentor functional analysts and developers on OIC architecture and best practices

Required Experience

• 5+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years working at the Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect level with Oracle Integration Cloud
• Strong hands on experience designing, building, and deploying OIC integrations
• Experience leading at least one full lifecycle Oracle Integration Cloud implementation
• Strong understanding of OIC architecture, orchestration, integration patterns, and middleware best practices
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, web services, and enterprise integration technologies
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production integrations
• Ability to work across both technical and business teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders

Highly Preferred

• Experience integrating Oracle Utilities applications including:
• Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS)
• Utility or energy industry experience
• Azure Logic Apps and Azure API Management experience
• Experience working with SOX controls and regulated enterprise environments
• Experience providing technical governance over system integrators or managed service providers
• Agile or Scrum delivery experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

10+ years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
