Job summary

RegEd is seeking a Database Administrator to provide operational and application database services across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will own incidents, monitor health, and support performance and security requirements.

You’ll collaborate with Architecture, QA, Development and Infra teams, manage backups and restores, and help implement database changes with best practices. Remote work is supported with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years database administration or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud databases (Azure).
• Security, role management, and access controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve database incidents and requests.
• Monitor backups, maintenance jobs, and index health.
• Support performance and security requirements.
• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, Dev and Infra teams.
• Maintain documentation and restore tests.
• Assist in deployment of database changes.
