Job summary

RegEd seeks a Database Administrator to provide operational and application database services across on-premise and cloud environments. You will monitor health, manage backups, security, and performance, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, schema maintenance, and supporting deployments while driving continuous improvement in database practices. A strong SQL Server background is required.

Qualifications

3+ years of database administration experience.
Hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher.
Strong T-SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
Cloud database familiarity with Azure SQL services.
Experience with backups, security, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

Own, track, and resolve database incidents and requests.
Monitor health via backups, maintenance jobs, and indexing.
Support security requirements and access controls.
Coordinate with Architecture on standards for code and schema.
Maintain and refresh development/test databases for QA.
