Arrow Electronics in Bangalore, India is seeking an Oracle Apps DBA with 6–9 years of experience to join our production support team.

You will manage RAC, ASM, RMAN, and E-Business Suite, handle patches and upgrades, and provide on‑call support for project and production environments.

A collaborative, training‑oriented culture awaits, with weekend shifts and outages occasional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Oracle Apps DBA with 6–9 years of experience.
• Production support experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19g databases, and expertise with Oracle’s RAC, ASM, and RMAN.
• Administration of Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.1.3 and R12.2.9 or other enterprise applications as an App DBA.
• Good knowledge of incidents, requests, and change management processes.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ERP monitoring systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• On‑call support for project and production environments.
• Support maintenance outages throughout the year.
• Willingness to work 24×7 shifts and scheduled weekend activities such as upgrades and patches.
• Experience/knowledge of products like Demantra and Golden Gate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all database related problems assigned by the Oracle DBA Lead are resolved in a timely manner to minimize user impact.
• Coordinate and perform Oracle Clones, Application Installation Patches, and Upgrades.
• Conduct root cause analysis on persistent or major database related problems.
• Perform application maintenance as required.
• Research application issues (SRs).
• Provide on‑call support for project and production environments.
• Support maintenance outages throughout the year.
