Job summary

STAFFXPERT is seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to manage Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database environments. The role includes patching, upgrades, cloning, backups, and production support to ensure high availability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EBS R12/R12.2, RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and WebLogic, with strong Linux/Unix scripting skills. On-call production support will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle EBS DBA.
• Hands-on with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or later.
• Experience with ADOP, AutoConfig, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
• Experience with RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Forms, and Reports.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.
• Experience supporting high-availability and production Oracle environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
• Perform patching, upgrades, cloning, and environment refreshes across DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD.
• Administer Oracle Databases, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Manage Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Forms, Reports, Workflow, and application services.
• Monitor database and application performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform RMAN backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability support.
• Manage users, roles, privileges, security, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to database, app tier, interfaces, and batch jobs.
• Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Work with development and functional teams during releases, deployments, and migrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call and production support activities.
