Job summary

Purchasing Power is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to support 12c/19c databases in an enterprise setting. You will monitor performance, manage RAC and OEM, and collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and maintain security and SLA adherence.

The role requires 4+ years of Oracle DBA experience, familiarity with Oracle ASM and E‑Business apps, and strong communication skills. This is a 24/7 on-call position with offshore/onshore collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
• Experience with 12c/19c databases and RAC.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployments.
• Experience in e-commerce operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup and support Oracle 12c databases, Enterprise Manager, and RAC.
• Monitor systems to meet SLA and suggest improvements.
• Automate, analyze, and report on alert logs.
• Monitor tablespace usage and storage trends.
• Performance monitoring and tuning.
• Support DevOps environments enabling self-service for teams.
• Maintain security and best-practices compliance.
• Assist in deployments and monitor performance baselines.
