Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Bangalore, India is seeking an Oracle Apps DBA with 6–9 years of experience to join our production support team.

You will manage RAC, ASM, RMAN, and E-Business Suite, handle patches and upgrades, and provide on‑call support for project and production environments.

Qualifications

• Oracle Apps DBA with 6–9 years of experience.
• Production support experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19g databases, and expertise with Oracle’s RAC, ASM, and RMAN.
• Administration of Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.1.3 and R12.2.9 or other enterprise applications as an App DBA.
• Good knowledge of incidents, requests, and change management processes.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ERP monitoring systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• On‑call support for project and production environments.
• Support maintenance outages throughout the year.
• Willingness to work 24×7 shifts and scheduled weekend activities such as upgrades and patches.
• Experience/knowledge of products like Demantra and Golden Gate.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure all database related problems assigned by the Oracle DBA Lead are resolved in a timely manner to minimize user impact.
