Job summary

AmeriSOURCE seeks an experienced Oracle APEX & Forms Developer to modernize legacy Oracle Forms into APEX interfaces, using Oracle 19c. You will analyze applications, build modern UIs, and develop PL/SQL components while ensuring security and compliance within enterprise standards.

The role requires hands-on APEX and PL/SQL expertise, strong SQL tuning, and experience with Agile/Scrum. Onsite in Harrisburg, PA, with a focus on mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years Oracle APEX development experience.
• 5–7 years Oracle PL/SQL development (stored procedures, functions, packages).
• Strong Oracle RDBMS knowledge, preferably 19c.
• Experience migrating Oracle Forms to Oracle APEX.
• Proficient in SQL tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with web services and PL/SQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy Oracle Forms apps and migrate to Oracle APEX.
• Design and maintain modern Oracle APEX UIs.
• Develop PL/SQL stored procedures and complex queries.
• Perform data extraction, analysis, and reporting enhancements.
• Implement security models and user roles.
• Tune database performance and assist deployments.
• Prepare technical and user documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and support client IT staff.
