Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support multiple IT services, including application development and infrastructure support for U.S. government clients. The role requires strong Oracle APEX expertise, Oracle database skills, and a public trust clearance.

The position emphasizes customer-focused delivery, collaboration with program managers, and experience in secure, enterprise environments within a government contracting setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; alternative with HS diploma plus experience/certifications.
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
• Experience with full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications including APEX.
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Proficient in JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for dynamic web content.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle data types.
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills; Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using Oracle APEX.
• Perform advanced work with Oracle APEX 4.0+ and Oracle IDEs (Toad, SQL Developer).
• Design dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Create dynamic reports in Oracle APEX and BI Publisher templates.
• Deliver enterprise‑level workflow‑centric applications and automate business processes.
