Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a skilled carpenter/joiner to carry out repairs and maintenance across properties, including timber and UPVC windows and doors. You will measure accurately, diagnose faults and ensure work is completed safely to a high standard.

The role covers both occupied and unoccupied properties, requires keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on a varied workload while delivering high-quality joinery results and customer-friendly service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Work Pattern: Remote

PAYE Pay Rate: £22.43 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To carry out carpentry, joinery, repair and maintenance works across properties, including timber and UPVC windows, doors and frames. The role requires accurate measuring, diagnosing faults and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Typical Day Overview

• Attend properties to carry out carpentry and joinery repairs.
• Repair and maintain sash windows, UPVC windows, doors and frames.
• Accurately measure replacement joinery and submit detailed orders.
• Carry out minor plumbing, tiling and making‑good works.
• Diagnose faults and determine the most appropriate repair.
• Work across occupied and unoccupied properties.
• Complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Strong carpentry and joinery skills.
