Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Joiner-Multi Trade professional for a 3-month contract on managed properties. You will carry out joinery and multi-trade installations, upgrades, maintenance and repairs, delivering a high standard of customer service.

You will coordinate with other trades, manage stock, complete documentation, and ensure works comply with Health and Safety. Driving licence and DBS required; 37 hours per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Extensive post-qualification experience in the joinery trade.
• Experience undertaking multi-trade works (plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting).
• Proven ability to handle a variable workload in a customer-focused, target-driven service.
• Understanding and experience of current Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Joinery/Multi Trade installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs in managed properties.
• Coordinate services of other trades with colleagues, contractors, and partners to ensure a seamless service.
• Manage stock and supplies efficiently to ensure works are not delayed.
• Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales, updating records.
• Identify efficiencies and gaps in service delivery, communicating them to line management.
• Ensure all activities are discharged safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, minimizing risk.
• Provide relief cover for colleagues and emergency cover if required for business continuity.

• Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in the joinery trade (e.g., City & Guilds).


• Ability to use computerised data recording equipment.
