Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and maintain a sterile field in operative procedures. The role involves preparing the operating suite, passing instruments, and supporting intraoperative needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CST certification within 90 days, and BLS certification. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with adherence to Owensboro Health

Responsabilités

• Prepare surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping and sterile field maintenance.
• Pass instruments to the physician and track equipment and supplies during surgery.
• Receive specimens for testing and assist with wound dressings and drainage systems.
• Support visualization of the operative site using appropriate retraction, suction, and irrigation.
