Job summary

Elliot Health System located in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our Surgical Services team. In this role, you will identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring quality patient care.

Ideal candidates should be graduates of an accredited surgical program, possess current BLS certification, and be eligible for New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration. We offer competitive benefits including a salary sign-on bonus and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required.
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Tech in Surgery (TS-C) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration is required (unless other current NH state license is held).

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical team with verification process.
• Assist surgical team with intra-operative procedures and with closure procedures.
• Review the surgical booking and matches procedures to preference cards.
• Accurately uses surgical preference cards for selection of instrumentation.
• Inspect instruments for sterility, safety and function.
• Evaluate surroundings to maintain sterile field.
