Job summary

Elliot Health System's Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH seeks a skilled Surgical Technician to prepare operating rooms and assist surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities include sterilizing equipment, transporting patients, and monitoring vital signs under medical staff direction. Requires a high school diploma and Surgical Technician certification, BLS, and NH tech certification if not licensed in NH.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Surgical Technician program or military training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Hospital OR or ASC preferred.
• Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required unless another NH license is held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning.
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room as needed.
• Monitor vital signs of patient under surgery as directed by medical staff.
