Elliot Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician for the Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH. Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms and equipment, assisting surgeons with instruments, and ensuring sterile procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, Surgical Technician certification, BLS, and NH medical technician certification. A minimum of 2 years OR/ASC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program or education/training in the military.
• Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required unless other current NH state license is held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning.
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room as needed.
• Monitor vital signs of patient under surgery as directed by medical staff.
