The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH seeks a skilled Surgical Technician to join our operating team. You will prepare operating rooms and equipment, assist surgeons with instruments, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include passing instruments, retractors, suctioning, sterilizing gear, preparing supplies, and transporting patients to the OR, while monitoring vital signs under supervision. Certification in Surgical Technician and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program or military training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospital Operating Room or ASC preferred.
• Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required unless other NH state license is held.

About the Job:

The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently looking for a highly-skilled Surgical Technician to join their team. As a surgical technician at the surgery center, you would be responsible for preparing operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures. You would also assist surgeons with various tasks in the operating room such as passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning. Additionally, you would be responsible for sterilizing equipment and instruments, preparing supplies, and transporting patients to the operating room.
