Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Main Operating Room in Spokane, WA. The role involves preparing the sterile table, passing instruments to the surgeon, and maintaining sterile technique under RN supervision.

The position includes opportunities to work as part of the turnover and case cart teams, with a strong focus on efficient OR flow and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a course in surgical technology required.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist required or recent completion of accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Function as scrub technologist in the surgical suite: set up sterile table, instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Pass instruments to surgeon during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Care for instruments after procedures and assist in circulating duties as needed under RN supervision.
