Job summary

Wills Eye Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Technician (Certified Surgical Technologist) to join the Cherry Hill, NJ team in a full-time capacity. This 40‑hour-per-week role supports surgical teams by preparing implants, instruments, and supplies under the direction of the registered nurse and physician.

You will maintain the sterile field, assist in case setup, and help deliver high-quality ophthalmic care in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete an accredited surgical technology program or CST certification.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing implants, instruments, and supplies prior to scheduled operative cases.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field; support nurses and physicians.
• Transport and handle specimens and equipment as needed during procedures.
• Support OR team with case carts, instrument turnover, and equipment maintenance.
