Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Annual continuing education requirement of 15 hours to maintain credential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scrub table and mayo stand; assemble operating room supplies and equipment.
• Assist in patient positioning, prepping, draping, and sterile technique under RN supervision.
• Maintain instrument and supply counts and support intraoperative needs as second circulator.
• Assist with perioperative care and evidence of quality improvement in daily work.
