Job summary

A leading health system in Wheeling, West Virginia, is seeking a full-time Surgical Technician to assist surgical teams and provide patient care during procedures. Ideal candidates should possess current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or have completed a Surgical Technology program. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile environments, assisting with surgical procedures, and managing equipment supplies. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or completion of a Surgical Technology program.
• Certification in Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Surgical Technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides intraoperative care to patients as a scrub person during procedures.
• Utilizes quality aseptic technique in both sterile and unsterile roles.
• Monitors the sterile field and assists with patient positioning.
