Job summary

WVU Medicine is hiring for a Surgical Tech position at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. The role involves providing intraoperative patient care and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent and must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. The position involves periodic shifts totaling 36 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse program, OR Surgical Technology program, OR Registered Nurse program, OR High School Diploma and 6 months scrub experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care by assisting the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies when needed.
