Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a night shift. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care across physiological, psychological, and social aspects, while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, Associate’s in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), strong communication, clinical skills, and the ability to respond to code situations.

Qualifications

• Strong nursing knowledge and care procedures.
• Ability to work well in a unit as a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• EKG knowledge and patient monitoring.
• Basic computer skills and Windows navigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance throughout care.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance care.
