Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is seeking a Surgical Services Registered Nurse in a Full-time Days position. This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.

Expect responsibilities such as supervising patient care, adhering to AORN standards, and maintaining safety and sterile technique. Requires Iowa RN license and prior surgical experience preferred.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa.
• One year of experience in a surgical department or an acute care facility preferred.
• Current Mandatory Reporter, BCLS certification with ACLS preferred or within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and directs patient care in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative settings.
• Ensures proper techniques and practices per accepted standards and AORN recommendations.
• Performs circulating, scrub and recovery nursing as assigned and based on competency.
